Siri Mitchell has always been a favorite author of mine, so I was excited to read her latest book--A Constant Heart. Here's the blurb from the back:

This book is truly unique. It's written from his and her perspective, both in first person, and it's a love story not a romance. As for the history--it's all news to me. The three words I would use to describe it are: unexpected, haunting, and powerful.

in your opinion, what's the difference between a love story and a romance?
Hi Andrea, it's good to see have you visit. A romance goes like this: boy meets girl, boy gets girl, boy loses girl, happily every after. A love story could be anything from Romeo and Juliet to The Notebook. There's no formula involved with a love story--anything can happen, including the tragic.
I've read some of Siri's chick-lit and would love to read a historical from her.
I sat with Siri at ACFW. A very nice woman. :-)

I'm going to head on over and read your interview anyway, anything about a good book draws my attention. =)
